Designed by Maurice McCarthy in 1930, the West Course is a traditional, yet ever-enjoyable course. Enjoy sweet, bird’s-eye views of the town of Hershey as you play your way through a leisurely day of golf. The West Course requires all 14 clubs, making it great practice for golfers of all skill levels.
Guests of Hershey Lodge, The Hotel Hershey, or Hersheypark Camping Resort may call the Hershey Country Club Golf Shop at 717-533-2464.
A round of golf at the West Course should be completed in approximately four hours. We ask each group to keep pace with the group preceding them and maintain 9-minute tee time intervals. We provide course advisors to assist players in keeping pace of play to assure every player has a great golfing game. The West Course employs a dress code policy, and is a non-metal spike facility.
The 18-hole, par 73 West Course features 6,860 yards of tree-lined fairways, lush greens, and challenging hazards with holes ranging between par 3, 4, and 5. The course has a 72.6 rating with a slope of 130.
Hershey Country Club offers a complete practice facility to allow golfers to work on all aspects of their golf game. The facility features a 25-station driving range, two practice tees, a short game practice and pitching area with bunkers, and two putting greens. Practice facilities are reserved for Members of Hershey Country Club and guests of Hershey Resorts. To learn about our latest course projects and maintenance, please check out:
